State Quota & All India-
HSC (10+2) Examination
The candidate should be an Indian National and must have passed the HSC (Std. XII) examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination.

Compulsory Subjects
Must have passed with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects: Mathematics or Biology (PCM or PCB).

Minimum Marks (General Category)
Obtained at least 45% marks (i.e. 135 marks out of 300 marks) in the above subjects taken together.

Minimum Marks (Reserved Categories)
Obtained at least 40% marks (i.e. 120 marks out of 300 marks) in the above subjects taken together. (Applicable only for Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State).
Entrance Examination Requirements
MHT-CET / NEET-
State Candidature (MHT-CET)
Candidates must have appeared in all the subjects and obtained a non-zero score in the MHT-CET 2026 (PCB or PCM group) conducted by the Competent Authority.

All India Candidature (NEET / MHT-CET)
Must have obtained a non-zero positive score in NEET or MHT-CET. Note: Preference shall be given to candidates obtaining a non-zero positive score in NEET over the candidates who obtained a non-zero score in MHT-CET for All India Seats.
Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm)
2-Year Diploma Programme
Academic Qualifications
Merit Based Admission-
HSC (10+2) Science
The candidate should be an Indian National and must have passed the 10+2 (HSC) examination or its equivalent from a recognized board.

Compulsory Subjects
Must have studied in the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and either Biology or Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Minimum Age Limit
The candidate must be at least 17 years of age on or before the 31st of December of the year of admission.
No Entrance Exam Required for D.Pharm
Unlike the degree programme, admission to the Diploma in Pharmacy does not require MHT-CET or NEET. Admissions are conducted strictly on a merit basis calculated from your 12th standard marks through the DTE CAP rounds.

Diploma Holders-
Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm)
Candidate must have passed the Diploma Course in Pharmacy from an institution approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) or Central/State Government.

Minimum Marks Requirement
Secured at least 45% marks in the Diploma course for Open Category. (At least 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only).

Maharashtra State Candidature Types
Candidates passing SSC/HSC from Maharashtra and domiciled in the state fall under Type A. Candidates whose parents possess a domicile certificate fall under Type B. Refer to the DTE brochure for Types C, D, and E.

Category Reservations
To claim seats under reserved categories (SC, ST, VJ/DT, NT, OBC, SBC), candidates must possess a valid Caste Certificate, Caste Validity Certificate, and a Non-Creamy Layer Certificate valid up to March 2027 (except SC/ST).

Gap Certificate
If there is a gap in education after the 12th standard or Diploma examination, a formal gap certificate in the form of a legally executed affidavit on a stamp paper of appropriate value is required.
